She is a proud graduate of UC Berkeley, where she majored in political science, and minored in Spanish and journalism. She was previously a video production intern for the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2024, and has since returned to her favorite sports team as a Production and Storytelling Associate for the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation.

Mariana has bylines as a visual journalist and writer in The Sacramento Bee and Mission Local. She also has experience working with clients at Nike, Calm, and Hallmark as a professional voice actor.

Her work as a storyteller is heavily influenced by a passion for institutional accountability, social justice, and bilingual storytelling.
