Mariana Garcia is a videographer, photographer, and storyteller from Sacramento, California attending school at UC Berkeley. She is a journalist with CalTV, where she pitches, films, and edits news packages ranging from local Bay Area news to international stories.
Her story, “The Three Thousand Mile Journey” was recognized by UC Berkeley’s Future Histories Lab with the Undergraduate Prize in Immigration.
Mariana has experience working with clients at Nike, Calm, and Hallmark as a professional voice actor, a skill which enhances her journalistic pieces.
Most recently, Mariana interned with the Los Angeles Dodgers on the video production team where she interviewed community members, Dodger alumni, and players to tell visual stories of the historic baseball organization and its members on and off the field.
