About

Mariana Garcia is a videographer, photographer, and storyteller from Sacramento, California. She is in her fourth year at UC Berkeley where she major in political science, and minors in Spanish and journalism.

Mariana is a video journalist for CalTV—UC Berkeley’s first and only online television station—where she pitches, films, and edits stories ranging from campus news, to global politics, music, and entertainment.

Her story, “The Three Thousand Mile Journey” was recognized by UC Berkeley’s Future Histories Lab with the Undergraduate Prize in Immigration.

Most recently, Mariana interned with the Los Angeles Dodgers as a video producer for LA Dodgers Productions. In this role, she interviewed Dodger players, alumni, staff, and LA community members to tell visual stories of the historic organization and its members, both on and off the field.

Mariana has experience working with clients at Nike, Calm, and Hallmark as a professional voice actor.
